Acting

Grant has been a professional actor since the mid-1970's and is best known for his starring role as David Bradford on the hit television series Eight Is Enough.

He also appeared for two seasons on Northern Exposure as Maggie's boyfriend Rick Pedersen. Grant has numerous star, guest star and co-star credits in television, movies of the week, film and independent film.

His most recent credits include the independent short "The Shootout",  "The House of the Righteous" with Edward James Olmos, and Showtime's revival of Twin Peaks.

Hosting

Grant is the host of Northwest Backroads currently running in the Pacific Northwest on KING TV Seattle. Northwest Backroads is an outdoor/travel show featuring recreation, destinations, adventure, cuisine and the scenic beauty of the Pacific Northwest including Washington, Oregon, British Columbia, and even reaching into Idaho, Montana and Alaska.

Grant has also been host of the popular HGTV series If Walls Could Talk as well as many other video, documentary, commercial and website projects.

Grant Goodeve has made numerous TV and film and stage appearances in a show business career spanning 38 years. Grant is currently entering his 16th season as host of the popular regional outdoor/travel show Northwest Backroads produced at KING 5 TV in Seattle. HGTV fans will know Grant as the host of If Walls Could Talk from 2000 to 2004.

Grant and his wife Debbie have been married for 38 years, are avid tennis players and split their time between Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Seattle to stay close to their 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
